My Story
At the age of 36 five years ago I faced my own battle with Bowel Cancer. Receiving this diagnosis turned our world upside-down, with a young family I felt very frightened. My future became a cycle of hospital appointments and tests and unpredictable times, cancer takes over your life and can be a lonely journey.
After undergoing major surgery and enduring seven months of chemotherapy, I experienced not only the physical challenges of my illness but also the profound mental strain it placed upon me.
I found this especially hard when I finished treatment. The realisation of what I had just been through, coupled with the fear of my cancer returning, made every ache in my tummy lead me down the path of "what if.".. It was during this time I discovered the incredible benefits of hypnotherapy and oncology hypnotherapy.
This inspired me to train and specialise in these areas, allowing me to support others who are navigating similar paths. I understand first hand the complexities of fear, anxiety, and stress, phobias and the unknown future that accompany cancer.
I am dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate non judgemental space for my clients. My aim is to support individuals to reclaim their mental well-being, find peace, and foster resilience during challenging times.
